Overcoming Objections
I Don't Like AT&T (or DirecTV)
- I hear ya. Things are a lot better after the merger with DirecTV. You're going to love us. How do you spell your first name? (continue with close)
- I understand. I've had my fair share of run-ins with companies, so I get it. How do you spell your first name?

- Our qualification system is a little different than just calling in to DirecTV. Because our company does our own installations and brings DirecTV so many customers, our qualifications are usually more relaxed than calling in directly. Sometimes, I can even qualify people with just their name, phone number, and address. Let's just give it a shot real quick. You have nothing to lose at this point.

I need to talk to my husband/wife before I make a decision
- I hear ya there. If you're anything like me, I talk to my wife about almost everything. In fact, this is something you guys have probably already talked about. Am I right? Look, we both know DirecTV is the best product out there, and I'm offering it to you at the cheapest rate you've probably ever seen. Why don't you surprise your spouse with an upgrade at a rate lower than what you're currently paying for an inferior product?

Person has an angry or disgusted look on their face
- Stop in the middle of a sentence and say, "You look really upset. Are you doing okay? If I've done something to offend you, I am so sorry. I'm just trying to save people some money while trying to support my family. I have no desire to upset or offend anyone."
